SYGNUS is an independent IT consulting company that provides consulting services in Information Technology, Communications, and Human Resources to companies in the Petroleum, Mining, Industrial and Services sectors.

Our company was founded in 1996 as a result of an initiative to provide outsourcing services for the Information Technology department of Occidental Petroleum Company's Peruvian branch. Since then, we have expanded our services to other companies in the local and international markets. Currently, we have offices in Houston (USA), Bogotá (Colombia), Quito (Ecuador), and Lima (Perú).

Our staff is conformed of highly trained and experienced personnel with many years in the petroleum industry. Most of our senior personnel have worked with Occidental Petroleum for about 15 years prior to the initiation of the Sygnus Project. During the years with OXY, our personnel participated in numerous international projects with a variety of special situations preparing them for becoming experienced System Managers.
